Născut la 23 februarie 1977, Iaşi.
Nume complet: Dragoş Gabriel Mîrşanu.

Domenii de interes:

Istoria creştinismului (a bisericii şi teologiei) în spaţiul mediteranean, îndeosebi în antichitatea târzie, dar şi în epoca bizantină; istoria cultural-religioasă a secolului al XVII-lea (în special Mărturisirile răsăritene de credinţă); patrologie; studii biblice.

Parcurs profesional:

2004-2010: doctorat, Facultatea de Teologie, Universitatea Catolică din Leuven, Belgia (istoria bisericii şi teologiei); predarea de cursuri universitare la diferite niveluri ca invitat sau ca suplinitor.

2002-2004: masterat, Facultatea de Teologie (Graduate School of Theology), Universitatea Radboud, Nijmegen, Olanda (teologie interculturală, studii creştin-răsăritene). Absolvent cu distincţie.
